About Me.
My professional journey begins way back in the early 1980's when I did my time has a hands on Welder using all the welding activities such as MAGS-FCAW/MMA and TIG processes on structural steel and pipework, then I moved on for a short time to Rolls Royce Aerospace where I started with the Non-Destructive Testing which included Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant and Radiography examinations on Turbine blades and nozzle guide vanes, all the testing was carried out to relevant Ministry of Defence standards. I left there and went back to my previous employer where I progressed on to become a Welding Foreman/Deputy QA Manager. Then in the 2000 I went to work for NDT Services part of the Intertek Group and this is where I gained my CSWIP - EWS Diploma awarded in September 2010, Welding Inspector Grade 3.1, Welding Examiner and Senior Welding Inspector Grade 3.2. Also studied and completed 5 modules of European Welding Specialist Diploma.
But my real ambition was to run my own company one day, and that came true on December 2018 when SR Welding and NDT Technology Ltd was started, we have gone from strength to strength and that gave me the motivation to go for my Diploma to be a Welding Technologist that was completed in November 2023.

Proficiency has been demonstrated in fusion welding inspection as a Senior Welding Inspector 3.2.1 in accordance with the CSWIP requirements published in Document CSWIP-WI-6-92, 13th Edition July 2015 and amendments in force on the examination date.
